About Yoga Nidra

The practice of Yoga Nidra is a deep-guided meditation, practiced in a relaxed posture (Savasana) that quiets the mind and makes it receptive to new suggestion. While remaining completely awake, this 35 - minute practice can feel like 3 hours of restful sleep. The brain is essentially massaged by rotating mentally through the different parts of the body in a specific order. This transformative practice helps us to release us from our conditioned patterns and habits and evokes lasting changes from the inside out.

When we are trying to overcome a pattern, addiction or have a certain goal we want to achieve in our lives, we need to choose a resolve or affirmation that reflects that choice accurately. Choosing your resolve or affirmation should feel organic and natural. Choose a short clear statement in affirmative in language that resonates with you. If you want to stop smoking or you are suffering from a dis-ease you would like to heal, choose an affirmation that encompasses health, for example:
