About Sukha Yoga's History
For over four years, Sukha Yoga has been providing both private and group yoga instruction for everyone from entrepreneurs, mother’s groups, walking and running clubs and sports teams to corporate functions and meetings. We have also been facilitating corporate leadership wellness days and offering weekly in office yoga classes, Yoga teacher training workshops focusing on Tensegrity and the principles of Vijnana Yoga as well Yoga and Hiking retreats for women in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
Why Yoga?
Stress,
a leading factor affecting our physical and mental health, manifests
into symptoms such as neck tension, back pain, headaches, anxiety, mood
disorders and insomnia. A regular yoga practice relieves tension in the
body, restores natural body rhythms, such as sleep and appetite
patterns and elicits a sense of vital energy and well being. Yoga and
Meditation helps us to approach life with confidence, grace and respect
for others.
